The summer holidays are finally here - hurrah!
We hope that you all find some time to relax and recuperate at some point over the next few weeks and are able to take some time to really appreciate this fantastic area in which we live and which is a holiday destination for others!
The KidooLand team are gearing up and preparing to take care of your children during our numerous workshops which are taking place all summer (there are a few places left, so if you still need a holiday activity for your child or teen, send us an email ASAP).
We are also hard at work with the renovations of our newly acquired space "The Loft" - 190m2 of space for birthday parties, extra playgroups, adult conversation classes, child & adult yoga classes and much, much more. Follow our progress with the hashtag #kidoolandisgrowing #kidoolandgrandit

SPOTLIGHT ON - HOLIDAY WORKSHOPS
There are still a few spaces left for our holiday workshops for children aged 4 - 14 years. All our workshops will involve a whole range of creative activities including cooking, singing, arts & crafts, sports, lego workshops and much more. All IN ENGLISH!

1.) Adoland Classic Workshops for teens aged 10-16.

2.) K'ELITE "Leadership in Training"

For teens thinking about working with children in the future, why not join the K'ELITE programme and see what it's really like to be an "animateur". The K'ELITE programme is divided into 3 levels, with level 1 accessible for teens 12 and over. The teens will learn what it's really like to work as an animateur, including learning about issues such as health and safety, good leadership skills, positive encouragement, best practices for dealing with children etc..

KIDOOLAND IS GROWING #kidoolandgrandit...
As you can imagine the last couple of weeks have felt like months. So many questions to answer on electrics, plasterboard, insulation and paint...but we have made incredible progress and are painting the walls today then the lights go up . Next week we will move in furniture so that we can use the space in the holidays so everything is on target.
We have been very lucky to work with some great trades.
PARTY PARTY PARTY
Part of the renovation works include the creation of a wonderful, large room that is going to lend itself perfectly for birthday parties.
We've created a Birthday Party page on our website and our new brochures are available for download.
Whatever your requirements and budget, we have a package to suit you:
- Simple party room hire so that you can then host the party yourself.
- Bronze, silver and gold birthday packages where KidooLand hosts the party and entertains your guests with games, activities or dance workshops.
- Full VIP treatment with bouncy castles and photobooths,
- Our party room can also be hired for adult birthday parties, anniversary parties and other functions too of events too of course!
COMING SOON... The all new KidooClub!
KidooLand will soon be launching KidooClub, a free annual loyalty club open to all the 500+ families that sign up for one off or regular activities at KidooLand. Our idea is to re-create a village feel by linking our families with local, high-quality businesses, service providers and activity centres. We'll be creating a dedicated KidooClub portal on our website with news about all the different promotions on offer and we'll also be encouraging KidooClub members to tell us about their experience of using their KidooClub cards all throughout the year on our Facebook and Instagram accounts.
We really want KidooClub to represent the values of KidooLand: family, respect for the environnement, positivity, creativity and building the confidence of our children.

BOOST YOUR ENGLISH... Stories Podcast
Car journeys can be a nightmare with young children but use this car time to practice your English by listening to the stories from the "Stories Podcast."
Stories podcast describes itself as a "free podcast created to provide family friendly content to families on the go" and we love it! Stories vary in length from 8-9 minutes to 30 minutes and the narrator is easy to understand and entertaining to listen to. Try it, we know you and your kids will be hooked!
KIDOOLAND RECOMMENDS FOR PARENTS…
Whether you are going to be staying here for the summer, flying home or away on holiday, the summer holidays will come round quicker than you can imagine. So, take a few minutes now to:
- Plan some free fun outings (different parks, events, villages, new beaches etc..) and check out our Facebook page and the local tourist information websites to see what great events are going to be taking place near you this summer so you can add them to your calendar now.
- Pinterest is full of summer holiday bucket list ideas to keep bored hands gainfully occupied. Take a look now and save the best ideas for when you start to here cries of "I"m bored!!"
- Create some artwork for your home. Canvases can be bought fairly cheaply from many craftshops so pick up a couple before the holidays, along with some paint if needed, and then have your children create some original masterpieces to hang in their bedrooms. They will be so proud of themselves and what a great souvenir from their summer of fun.
- Write the shopping list for the recipe your kids have been wanting to make with you for ages but that you just haven't had time to do yet.
- If you are jetting off, prepare packing lists now so that you don't forget anything!
LOCAL FUN: THINGS TO DO ON THE COTE D'AZUR
There is simply too much going on in July across the Cote d'Azur to list even the highlights here, so keep an eye on our Facebook page and we'll try to keep you up-to-date on the best family-friendly things that will be taking place. If you know of any great events that will be taking place near you this month, please don't hesitate to let us know via Facebook too!
