Holiday fun at KidooLand!

We are all aware of the advantages that speaking fluent English can bring to children during their school years and beyond into adult life, regardless of their final choice of career. Here at KidooLand we have been running creative and positive English classes for children for over 11 years now and our experience has also clearly shown that children learn best in fun, creative, positive and stimulating environments.

That is why we have developped a series of programmes designed to accompany your child from birth to 16 years that will enable them not only to learn English, but also to have fun at the same time, to learn about positivity, to have confidence in themselves and their abilities and to grow into caring, capable bilingual teenagers. For the KidooLand team, learning English really is just part of the overall package that we offer children and their families and that's why our holiday workshops (for children aged 4 to 16) are always such a great hit with children.

KidooLand's holiday workshops run on week days during the school holidays, from 9h to 16h30 and there's also the possibility of garderie (babysitting) from 8h30 and until 17h30 for an extra fee if you need it.

During the day, the children are divided into groups according to their age and ability and enjoy a range of activities, workshops, games - and even some lessons for the older groups - entirely in English! (Take a look at the photos and videos on this page for examples of some of our previous activities).

The key to the success of our holiday workshops is a combination of complete immersion in the English language for 7.5h per day, combined with the positive, "fun" environment, which means that at KidooLand, children end up learning English even whilst they're busy doing other things!

The KidooLand team choose a different theme for each holiday workshop, which then runs central to all the activities and workshops organised during that week for all ages and abilities. We try to choose themes that appeal to both boys and girls and that are fun, inspiring and stimulating for children. Examples of upcoming themes for our summer holiday workshops include:

This summer, children can join 3 different programmes of activities according to their age and level of English: English is Fun, Excel in English et Active English. Holiday workshops will be held at both KidooLand's Vallauris centre (beside the Leclerc supermarket) and in Valbonne at the Golden Tulip Hotel. The Golden Tulip Hotel site is very practical for working parents and also provides us with the opportunity to incorporate more outside sports and games into our programme (tennis, ping-pong, team games etc.).
